Give your feedback on candidates by Oct 12

On Monday, October 6th, Equity PAC held our general candidate forum. Please fill out the candidate endorsement survey so that the Equity PAC leadership will have your feedback on the candidates. The forum took place starting at 5:30pm at Muse GR on 727 Leonard St. NW. The event was also be broadcasted live on FB live from the Equity PAC page. 

Agenda

5:30 to 5:45pm: Welcome

5:45 to 6:30pm: GRPS Candidates: Patton, Williams, Davis

6:30 to 7pm: 17th Circuit Court Candidates: Elmore, Bryant

7 to 7:15pm: Voters Not Politicians

7:15 to 7:45pm: GRCC: Sanchez, Crosby*

7:45 to 8pm: 28th MI Senate: Beach

8 to 8:45pm: County Commission: Sparks, DeGryse, Wooden

Each candidate had approximately 15 minutes total. They were asked to answer 1-2 moderated questions (which will include an opening statement). The first question for each candidate was “Tell us about the office you are running for and how that role can stay accountable to the community - specifically communities that have been historically marginalized?" Afterward, we reserved the remainder of the time for questions from the audience.

*Please note that Ms. Crosby is being considered for endorsement but was unable to be present. She has given Equity PAC permission to provide her application to the public, given her inability to be present. You can read it here.
